How I ratioed the entire Anti AI community and earned impressions toward X monetization

What started as casual replies turned into one single post exploding to over 57,000 impressions in a single day — all from engaging with just one thread. And yeah, it got messy. Death threats, people calling me every name in the book, the works. But damn if it didn’t feel like a masterclass in how the X algorithm rewards chaos.

Here’s the full, unfiltered story of how I accidentally (okay, mostly on purpose) ratioed a bunch of anti-AI warriors and started building toward X monetization.

The Setup: One Provocative Pin

It all began with a simple bait post. I pinned this:

Attached were four ridiculous “pencil drawings”, basically stick figures and memes that screamed irony. The goal? Make the anti-AI folks feel like they’d won, then hit them with the link to my blog (which is loaded with ads from Adsterra and Monetag).

The post was designed to trigger replies, quote tweets, and rage clicks. And holy hell, it worked.

The Explosion: 57k Impressions from One Engagement Wave

Within hours, the replies started flooding in. People calling me a retard, a bot, a sellout. One guy went full berserk after I replied with the link - he clicked it 20 times in under 20 minutes according to X activity stats. Another accused me of being an AI because my replies were “too elaborate and quick.” (Bro, I’ve been doing this since Ustream days. That’s just experience.)

By the end of the day, that one post had racked up 57,000 impressions. Not from a viral hit, not from ads, just from replying to trolls and letting the algorithm push the thread into more feeds. The more they quoted, replied, and seethed, the more X amplified it.

X activity screenshots showed:

  • Link clicks climbing (20+ from one dude alone, plus trickle from others)
  • Profile visits low (they hate-followed me less than they rage-clicked)
  • But impressions? Skyrocketing.

That’s the real lesson: ratio bait works because replies and quotes weigh heavier in the algorithm than likes. One angry thread can out-perform a dozen cute cat videos.

The Monetization Angle: Turning Rage into Revenue

Here’s where it gets fun (and profitable). My blog is stacked with aggressive ads:

  • Adsterra popunders and banners (quick to show, easy impressions)
  • Monetag MultiTag (interstitials, on-click pops, push notifications — AI rotates what pays best)

Every time someone rage-clicked the link, they landed on the blog and got hit with ads. Adsterra showed 48 impressions fast (updated in real-time). Monetag lagged (as usual for new zones), but the clicks were real, people stayed long enough to close the ad, which counts as an impression.

Even at low CPM (around $0.24 on Adsterra), 50+ clicks translate to tiny but real revenue. The goal isn’t millions overnight, it’s consistent small wins while building toward X’s monetization thresholds (500 verified subscribers + 5M impressions in 3 months for ad revenue sharing, as of 2026 rules).

Pro tip: Rage traffic pays better than you think. Anti-AI folks scroll, read, hate-comment, close ads slowly, more dwell time = more impressions served.

The Backlash (and Why I Paused)

Of course, it got dark. Death threats rolled in, real ones, not just “you’re a retard.” Reported them all, blocked, moved on. That’s when I knew it was time to step back from the anti-AI keyword spam. The impressions were fun, the clicks were real, but peace of mind > steak money.

I’m not deleting the pin, it’s still farming passive views and clicks. But I’m pivoting to lower-heat stuff

Lessons Learned (So You Can Copy the Play)

  1. Provocation > perfection — A fake “I surrender” post triggered more replies than any pro-AI manifesto ever would.
  2. Replies = rocket fuel — Engage every troll. Quote-tweet hate with the link. Each interaction pushes impressions.
  3. Link + ads = funnel — Drive to a blog loaded with popunders/interstitials. Even 50 clicks = real money over time.
  4. Know when to pause — Death threats aren’t funny. Protect your mental health and account.
  5. Consistency compounds — One post did 57k. Imagine daily low-key bait. That’s the real path to X monetization.
